Join MAX in San Francisco for The Metropolitan Opera Live in HD theater broadcast of the Puccini's classic opera, Tosca. The opera will be simulcast to the AMC Metreon Theatre in San Francisco on Saturday, April 11th, starting at 9:55 AM. Read more about the opera here.
We'll meet in the lobby of the AMC Theatre on the 3rd floor of the Metreon by 9:30 AM to give everyone time to get any refreshments and get settled before the show begins at 9:55 AM. The opera is estimated to run three hours and twenty minutes with two intermissions.
After the opera, those interested can join us at E&O Kitchen and Bar for a 1:45pm lunch (deposit required). E&O is about a half mile, 15-minute walk (or short Lyft/Uber ride), from the AMC Metreon theatre.
For MAX SF dues-paying members and their guests attending in San Francisco, we have reserved a block of 10 tickets that may be purchased in advance as described below. The seats are E3 - E12. You may view the seating chart for this performance here.
The cost for the pre-purchased tickets to watch the opera is $29. The deadline to register and reserve a ticket is Thursday, April 9th.
