RESPECT:  Aretha Franklin

MAX enjoyed a pre-dinner show at Burma Love at 8 Mint Plaza, followed by a musical tribute to the legendary Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, at Broadway SF. Burma Love proved to be a great choice based on location and cuisine. The show, R.E.S.P.E.C.T, highlighted Aretha's upbringing and musical influences, such as stars like Sam Cooke, who inspired Ms. Franklin to reach her iconic status as the Queen of Soul.
