Miniature Golf Outing San Francisco

Seven MAX SF members played miniature golf Sunday afternoon, July 27, at Stagecoach Greens in SOMA. We divided into two teams and played all 19 holes. Some of us got a few holes-in-one on a few of the greens, but other holes proved more challenging. Our fearless MAX leader, Elie, emerged finally as the overall champ and miniature golf pro of our group. The course itself is a lot of fun, with each different green representing a different aspect of Bay Area history and culture. Afterward, we went to the outdoor food court next to Stagecoach Greens, where we enjoyed an early dinner and (of course!) some libations at the various food and drink truck venues. Finally, after this, MAX member Joel Barish invited us for dessert, coffee and tea at his home, located just a few blocks from the event. Everyone had a wonderful afternoon, and even the San Francisco weather cooperated, with sunshine emerging from behind the clouds just as we began to tee off. We were competing that day with a Giants game and the Dore Alley Fair nearby, but that didn't dampen spirits a bit, and some of the group even got to enjoy Dore Alley before coming to play mini golf with us.
