Mahjong Game Night

Elie Abijaoude and I led a successful Mahjong event hosted by Lawrence Wong at the beautiful Fontana Condominiums community room. Mahjong, a strategic four-player game from the 19th century akin to Rummy, requires tactical planning and uses 144 tiles. The room was filled with rookie players, where my husband and Bill emerged as strong competitors, winning prizes from Lawrence Wong.  Elie organized a delicious spread of Chinese food, wine, soft drinks, and desserts, making it a delightful evening. Special thanks to Jerry Tusan for providing the wine. Lawrence Wong not only hosted but also offered a crash course in Mahjong, making the game both challenging and fun. Thanks to everyone who helped with cleanup. It was a wonderful evening, and everyone seemed to have a great time. Mahjong!
