MAX enjoyed an informative tour of the Nike Missile Site in the Marin Headlands. We learned about the national defense program with Nike missiles and its objective to counter a Russian nuclear missile attack. MAX members were able to see de-commissioned missiles as well as watch a missile moved from underground storage to launch position above ground.
