Walking Tour: History of the Embarcadero and Ferry Building

On Saturday, November 22, 15 MAX members joined for a guided tour of the Embarcadero Center and the Ferry Building. The tour of the Embarcadero Center focused on the amazing art pieces that are at the center of each of the buildings. Our guide provided insights into the design and thought behind each piece. Our second guide, a man who considers himself a Ferry building nerd, gave us a detailed and captivating history of the Ferry Building going back over 125 years. We finished our outing at Ozzie‘s Restaurant which serves American and Middle Eastern food. Delicious!
