Roaring Camp Train Adventure - MAX Members Enjoy Historic Scotts Valley Outing!

On June 14th, 23 MAX members met for a wonderful lunch at Bruno’s Bar and Grill in Scotts Valley before heading to Roaring Camp. At 1:30 PM, the group embarked on a 75-minute steam train ride through breathtaking redwood groves to the summit of Bear Mountain. Along the way, conductors shared the rich 1880s logging history of the area. Attendees also had the chance to explore Roaring Camp's historical exhibits, featuring some of the oldest, most authentically preserved 1890s steam engines in the country. It was a fantastic and memorable adventure all around. Special thanks to Jim Hahn and Elie Abi-jaoude for organizing everything so flawlessly!
