Red Party Valentine's Celebration
The first-ever MAX SF Valentine's Day Red Party was a heart-thumping success, with dancing; live singers, including IMQ (whose newest song just dropped on @imqmusic), and also Lawrence Wu and Lawrence Wong; and non-stop music from the 70s, 80s and 90s and 2000s, played by our guest DJ from San Francisco and San Diego, DJ LeBron (Instagram handle @djlebronbayarea). Attendees numbered about 70 to 80 and included MAX SF members; their friends and guests; and members of our co-host group, California Men's Gathering (CMG). The festive event was held on Saturday, Feb. 7, from 5 to 8 p.m. at First Unitarian Universalist Social Hall on Franklin St. in San Francisco, which was decorated in lots of red hearts and flashing lights. Along with music and dance, Jerry Tuson was our faithful and wonderful bartender, with special Valentine's Day cocktails and wine. Behind the scenes in the kitchen, our gourmet chef Alan Norton kept the food flowing with nonstop delectable selections, including fried chicken, tacos, shrimp, meatballs, Valentine's macaroons and cupcakes, and much more. This party was one for the MAX SF record book - a love fest for all who were able to attend!
