Aida: The Met Opera Live in HD
On January 25th, 2025, fourteen from MAX gathered at the AMC Kabuki 8 to watch the live performance of the opera Aida simulcast live from New York's Lincoln Center. This was a new production by the New York Metropolitan Opera company and featured massive sets, seemingly casts of thousands, and several strong performances, particularly by Angel Blue. Afterwards, twelve of us had lunch next door in a private room at Pa'ina, a Hawaiian-inspired restaurant featuring Hawaiian and Asia ingredients.
