Oakland Museum of California and Off the Grid Street Fair

Join MAX SF as we visit Oakland Museum of California and Off the Grid Street Fair, held on the museum grounds, on Friday, Oct 9. We will meet as a group at the entrance to the museum at 6 p.m. sharp. Every Friday through to the end of October, the museum features a free evening of live music, interactive activities, food trucks, and exclusive late-night access to all museum galleries and special exhibitions. Price is $25 per ticket, refundable up until 10 days before the event, but no refund after that. The museum is open until 9 p.m. You can get to the museum via BART. The Lake Merritt BART Station is a quick 3-minute walk to the museum (1 block). Or the museum offers a $10 flat-rate parking in its garage (adjacent to the museum) until 10 pm. Bring money if you want to buy food at one of the food truck vendors at the fair.
