An optional lunch is planned at Hunan House restaurant in North Beach/Chinatown
Hunan House After the Museum - Those interested can join us at the nearby Hunan House in North Beach/Chinatown after touring the Cable Car Museum. Hunan House is a family run business. Chinese food enthusiasts flock to Hunan House's Restaurant for award-winning cuisine that's reputedly "the best kept secret in Chinatown." The extensive menu features all the traditional items you expect to find, including classic Kung Pao chicken, Mongolian beef, and eggplant with spicy garlic sauce. Diners particularly love the chicken with orange peel, prawns with honey walnuts, pot stickers and, of course, hot and sour soup. They have vegetarian, but limited. Link for restaurant is: https://hunanhousecatogo.com/#home
Hunan House lunch will be from approximately 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. If you wish to join us for lunch, please pay $20 to reserve your spot. This helps us arrange the correct number of seats at the restaurant. Limit is 14 people. A waitlist is available for cancellations or possible additional seats. At the restaurant, we will return the $20 to you in cash. Please bring some cash to help settle the bill.
Deadline for the lunch reservation is September 17, 2024. No refunds will be allowed after September 17, 2024.
