Don Your Easter Bonnet Online Party

Join MAX Palm Springs for an online party (via Zoom) for a fun afternoon to laugh and celebrate Easter, Passover, Springtime.  Enjoy some mid-day fun activities (bonnet contest, movie trivia, music performance) with MAX members in SF and Palm Springs while drinking adult beverages. Mimosas, Bloody Marys, and other cocktails/mocktails will be expertly made by your favorite bartender – YOU!  Be sure to tip generously!  Then, put that cocktail (or a pitcher) in front of your desktop or laptop and settle in, wearing your most hilarious homemade hat or whatever you already have in your closet.  We will vote for the most creative adornment.  There will also be a "secret word" drinking game and a trivia quiz about the classic movie musical Easter Parade with Judy Garland and Fred Astaire.  If you haven't seen it, watch it online (Google Play, Vudu, Amazon Prime) before the Zoom meeting, but we'll also see a few clips during the event.  At the end of the party, a special musical guest will drop in to inspire us with live beautiful music.  There is no charge for this event, but space is limited to 30 participants. 

Here's how this event will work:

• Click REGISTER on the left to register for the online video party.  The video party will be conducted via Zoom .  Please be sure to provide an accurate email address so that you'll receive the invitation to the video meeting.
• Lorenzo will email a link for the Zoom meeting before April 12^th.
  
• On Sunday April 12^th, click on the link in the email from Lorenzo to join the 1 p.m. Zoom meeting.  Nothing else needs to be done.  If using a PC, you'll want a working microphone and speakers.  If you have a webcam, then others will be able to see you.  Zoom also works very well if you have an iPad or a smartphone - you just need to download the free app.  You may also call-in with any phone and participate via voice only.
  
• You'll be able to see and talk with others from MAX as you share in campy fun celebrating Easter, Passover and Springtime.
