The Tonga Room & Hurricane Bar is an iconic San Francisco institution. Located on Nob Hill in the lower levels of the San Francisco Fairmont hotel, this world famous tiki venue serves exceptional tropical drinks (the Mai Tai is one of the City's best), serves Polynesian-fusion cuisine, and features live entertainment. The unique tropical setting includes a floating stage for the band and "surprise" thunder and lightning storms!
Held on the second Wednesday of each month, Nick explores bars of interest in San Francisco in this monthly event series.
There is no cover charge and a no-host bar.
