Please be at or around the Rosie the Riveter Visitor Center by 9:30 a.m. We will begin a self-guided tour of the Visitor Center at approximately 10 a.m. We will be there for an hour as we tour the facility, before we go downstairs to listen to Mary Torres, a real-life Rosie during the war years, speak. This is a truly special event for history buffs! At approximately 12:30 p.m., we will go next door to the “Assembly” restaurant for lunch. Lunch will end at approximately 2:30pm. Optional: The S.S. Red Oak Victory is nearby (not walking distance) at 1337 Canal Blvd. Richmond CA. $10 self-guided tour. Closes at 4 p.m. (Call ahead to make sure of closing time.)
