Celebrate the Holiday season with SFGMC and their holiday concert: Brassy and Sassy on December 8th at 8:00 p.m. at the Nourse Theatre.
This delightful evening will fill you with the holiday spirit. Be dazzled by the breathtaking sound of 250 men’s voices, performing favorites from “Silver Bells” to “Hark the Herald Angels Sing,” as well as a cutting-edge version of “Silent Night”, and backed by a brilliant brass quintet.
To further elevate the evening, acclaimed soprano Marnie Breckenridge will be joining the performance. Breckenridge has sung with San Francisco Opera, English National Opera, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Los Angeles Opera, Carnegie Hall, Ravinia Festival, Bard Music Festival, Prague State Opera, The Metropolitan Opera Guild, Teatro Sao Paulo, Opera Parallèlè, San Francisco Symphony and many other US and European houses. “A favored interpreter of living composers’ music, her in-depth portrayals and excellent musicianship have established her as a go-to performer of critically acclaimed new works.
