Join the California Men’s Gathering (CMG) for their Northern California Summer Gathering in the beautiful Sierra Foothills near Foresthill (about 50 miles northeast of Sacramento).
Enjoy a three-day weekend in a beautiful woodland retreat with hundreds of men who come together from all over California and beyond to take a break from their daily routines, open their hearts and minds, relax, and have fun building a community of men.
There are tons of fun activities, including workshops, hiking, swimming, yoga, pool parties, massage exchange, puppy piles, and the “Talent/No Talent” show (always a highlight of the weekend), all included with the registration fee. These are experiences of connection, fun, challenge, and growth, as well as offering time and space for self-reflection. Each man creates his own menu of experiences. For an additional $35, the Low Ropes/Challenge Course offers a transformational experience that can make your whole weekend.
This year CMG is gathering for the first time at the Community of the Great Commission camp near Foresthill. Accommodations range from tent camping ($50 discount), basic cabins the in forest (5 bunks, 10 men per room, included in the registration fee), and a limited number of upgrades to beds in the lodge buildings available for an additional fee. All accommodations are first come (registered), first served. If you think you may want one of the very limited upgrades, register as soon as possible.
The registration fee is a sliding scale that ranges from $285 to $455, depending on your annual income. First time attendees get a discount of $35. In addition, a limited number of grants are available for those that require financial aid to be able to attend.
