Tour of the Historic USS POTOMAC at Jack London Square

Join MAX SF event organizer Jerry Tusan for a dockside tour of the Historic USS POTOMAC, President Franklin D Roosevelt's Floating White house from 1936 to 1945.  The one hour guided docent tour will include visiting the various rooms of the ship, hearing historic stories and visiting President Roosevelt's private quarters.  The POTOMAC is docked at the end of Jack London Square in Oakland.  There is plenty of street parking nearby.  The 12^th Street BART station is a 20 minute walk away.  For more information, go to

Please meet at the dock by 12 noon, as the tour starts promptly at 12:30.

After the one hour tour, we will convene next door at Rosenblum Wine Cellars for a selection of assorted food items to share.  One complimentary glass of sparkling, juice or wine is included.  Further drinks are on your own.

Cost is $45 for MAX Members and $50 for non-members.  We must limit the total to 10 people due to the docent tour guide regulations.

Deadline to register is November 3.  No refunds after that date.  There will be a waitlist established.
