Optional Pre-Show Dinner for Drum Tao

An optional pre-show dinner is planned at Alborz at 2175 Allston Way (corner of Oxford St) in Berkeley.  Alborz is an attrative Persian-Middle East restaurant serving up traditional and popular dishes at reasonable prices, including  charbroiled kabobs, lamb shank , dolme, and Fesenjoon. Vegetarian options are available although limited.

Alborz is located about 2 blocks or a 5 minute walk from the Downtown Berkeley Bart Station.

Dinner will be from 6:00-7:30 pm, giving us enough time to walk to the event at the nearby Zellerbach Hall located about 15 minutes away. 

If you wish to join us for dinner, please pay $20 to reserve your spot. This helps us arrange the correct number of seats at the restaurant. Feel free to join us for dinner even if you purchased tickets independently of MAX. Limit is 14 people. A waitlist is available for cancellations or possible additional seats.  At the restaurant, we will return the $20 to you in cash. Please bring some cash to help settle the bill. Restaurant indicated multiple (not individual) checks could be provided for our group.
